A Father's
Touch
A father touches
a child's life
in so many
different ways.
The example
that he sets for them
will last
them all their days.
His strength
that gives security,
an anchor
in their life,
gives his
children an ability
to face happiness
or strife.
His sons see
him as an example
and if the
man they see
is a loving
husband and father,
that's what
they'll grow up to be.
His daughters
need his approval
so they can
grow in their view
and say, as
they get older,
"Daddy, I
want a husband just like you."
A mother may
carry the larger share
of a child's
needs and such,
but there
is nothing in the world
that compares
with a father's touch.
